Education Minster Rana Mashhood Ahmed visited The Qauid-e-Azam Library where Ceremonies of Independence Day of Pakistan continues

Lahore (PR) Education Minster Rana Mashhood Ahmed visited in Qauid-e-Azam Library last day where the Ceremonies of Independence Day of Pakistan continues in collaboration with Punjab Archives, Nazaraya-e- Pakistan Trust and Govt, Punjab Public Library Lahore. Old and rare Books, Pictures and Documents of Pakistan Movement are being exhibited. Ceremony will continue till 14th August. During the visit Education Minster Rana Mashhood Ahmed praised the efforts of Nazarya Pakistan Trust, Punjab Archives and Qauid-e-Azam Library and shows his keen interest in ancient Documents of Pakistan Movement and said that these kinds of activates should be held. He also gave his views about the current security situation of Pakistan; he stated that our enemies don’t want us to progress in any field and We as a nation would demolish all of their evil intentions. He added Government knows that Raa and India is behind in all terrorist activates they would soon present the evidence to the Federal Government. For Qauid-e-Azam Library he said I spent my studentship years here and did a lot of research work. I want this Library to do work in Digitalization. Secretary Archives and Libraries Punjab, Director General Public Libraries Punjab Dr. Zaheer Ahmed Babar, Director Punjab Archives Muhammad Abbas Chugtai, Working Chief Librarian QAL Mrs. Salma, Director of Public libraries Punjab Hafiz Taufeeque,Mr. Abid Ali Gill member board of Governors Punjab Public Library and senior Librarian Mr. Abdul Ghafoor were also  present. A large number of dignities/Professors and Students of universities/collages and the general Public are visiting the exhibition on daily basis. Documents of Pakistan Movement. Director General Public Libraries Dr. Zaheer Ahmed Babar invited the people of all walks of life to visit Library.
